Hi all,\
Ia m brand new to blogging, so I hope I am doing this right!!! Thjis blog is about me, my family and of course my favorite past time which is crocheting. I learned to crochet back in 1984 when I was workling at Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead NJ with psych patients... I LOVED MY PATIENTS!! I specifically worked with Anorexic & Bulemic patients, they were all wonderful people of all ages and genders. Anyway, when I found out I was expecting my first baby... who is now 26 years old!!... I told my patients and they were all excited for me. One patient told me I had to make my baby a crocheted blanket. I said I had no clue of where to even begin!!So, she told me what to get, I got it and the rest is history!! I love to crochet!!! I did stop for a lng while and raised my son... and then back in 2000 whiole my husband and I were camping on the Delaware River, I decided to take it up again an it has been history since. I do not consider myself and experienced cricheter by any strech of the imagination either by th eway... I hguess I am your average crocheter... but I enjoy it immensely and that is what matters most!
I have been married to my husband for 35 years!!! Can't believe it has been so long and still going strong and happily!!! That unto itself is a feat with the divorce rate these days!!!
I work in a nursing home in Activity Dept, whicih is NOT all fun and games at all!! There is a ton of paper work that has to be done for the state for new admissions and Medi Care long term residents... it is a never ending cycle... currentlyI am looking for another job though, I am nursing homed out!!! I have answered about 5 postings for different locations of dr's... I am a Certified Medical Assistant by training. Hope to rectify my position soon!!!
My husband is a chef, he wqorked for Charlie Brown's Restairants for years and then went to cahoots Restuarnt in Middlesex NJ which is owned by the originator of the Charlie Brown Chain, Dave MOnier. Unfortuntely Cahoots is not doing well and so Milan left there before it was to late... now he is happily employed by Wegman's Grocery Store in Bridgewater NJ in the Meal Center... he just can't get away from cooking!!!
Together we have 1 sdon, Milan III, he is 26 years old and single and adorable!!! He is a hard worker too, he grauated from Kean UNiversity in 2006 with his degree in History and Music. Curently he is working as a teacher in No Plainfield School District, teachers guitar at Scotch Plains Music Center 4 nigts a week, has 1 night of proivate students and has his own band which is doing extremly well!! He has his own site, so go check him out...

We lost our last dog, Tyler, 1 year ago May 24, 2009 and we had my mom's dog who we lost May 21, 2008. My husband and I decided no more pets, it is to heart breaking when they leave us... a bird is different though and she is a baby and a happy and chirpy all day long!!!
Currently, I am working on a 12 inch square sampler afghan, it is a group project. I own a crochet group called "Sunday Afternoon Hookers", I love my group, we all get along well, and as usual have had problem members who are no longer in the group and so now we all are happy and have a great time helping each other and doing exchanges and such. I have 3 of the squares done and the fourth almost completed. When I figure it out I will add them so you can see my work.
Well, that is more then enough for the first time, so I will close here for now and catch ya next time!!
have a wonderful Memorial day Weekend and whatever you do... do it safely!!
